Roomies

Brief description of my new roommates:
***Disclaimer - D/T/B - In the event that you ever come across this blog diary please don't hate me if I mention something that offends you.  I'm just speaking my version of the truth.  Thank you for your understanding.

D - He is 27 years old, of Asian-ethnicity and from San Francisco.  He currently is in his last semester of art school (wasn't his first choice but still a pretty damn good one - I've seen his work and it's awesome-blossom).  Still not sure if he's straight or not.  He speaks about ex girlfriends which should easily confirm his sexual orientation, but some of his mannerisms suggest otherwise.  He also listens to Michael Buble...shouldn't that be a good enough indicator in itself??? =/ Hmmmmm....

T - She is 25 years old, of Asian-ethnicity and from San Jose.  She's currently gone back to school for nursing.  She has a BA in Sociology already but I guess her non-profit career just didn't cut it.  D calls her an "activist."  She hosts "call parties" where she'll invite folks to come over and make phone calls to random folks to persuade them to vote for whomever political member they're supporting.  D doesn't get along with her (neither did past roomies), but I haven't come across anything negative about her...yet.  Let's cross fingers.

B - She is 31/32 years old, caucasian and from Minnesota.  She's currently getting her PhD for Marine Biology, but her ultimate goal is to set up a charter school that focuses on teaching kids creative thinking skills.  D calls her "Switzerland...because she usually doesn't get in the middle of it" but I think she plays more of an influential role and sides with T a lot more than what D thinks.

They are all untidy.  =(  My first week here, and I felt compelled to scrub the kitchen sink so I can put my DIRTY dishes in there (felt very uncomfortable putting my dirty dishes in the brown sludge living in the sink).  And for my friend Tiffanie's sake, I cleaned the whole bathroom so Tiffanie can feel a little more comfortable using the shower without having to wear her plastic flip-flops (as if it's a public gym shower).

Since then, T has vacuumed every now and again, but the kitchen sink reverted back to it's original state within a week.  I keep myself sane by cleaning little by little whenever I'm in the kitchen.  My next line of assault will be on the stove that looks like it's a tannish-brown but I have a good feeling it's really white.
